The Bourke's Luck Potholes is one of Mpumalanga's natural wonders that should not be missed, with bridges crossing over the 'potholes' providing excellent views of the gorge below.
The Potholes form part of The Panorama Route, and can be visited as a day trip from Destiny Country Lodge, with a number of fascinating attractions en route!

The Potholes are open daily during day hours and is a well-known icon in the area. The unique cylindrical shapes and sculptures of rock find in the gorge are due to extensive water erosion from many years of swirling water eddies at the point where the Treur River and the Blyde River meet.
