Most visitors prefer to visit God's Window on a clear day as it enables one to see over the Kruger National Park to the Lebombo Mountain range on the border of Mozambique. There are various viewing sites and each point promises to be better than the last. One option is to follow the "God's Window" sign for the 'famous' view, another is to follow the "Rain Forest" signs. This path winds through a rain forest on the top of the hill and then opens to a stunning view of the valley below.

God's Window is open daily during daylight hours and is about 10 km from Graskop. From the Lodge it will take you about 1 hour 20 minutes, covering 93 km. It is accessible from a very steep path and thus is not wheelchair friendly. However, for the adventurous, various walks and mountain bike trails are available as well as horse riding routes. The parking lot has curio stalls and toilets and entrance is only R10 per person. If you are interested in a souvenir, don't forget to barter!
